    Pattern Learning: Concept and Model
    According to Yu et al. (2020), pattern
    learning is useful tool to understand
    differences in individuals’ learning and
    their differing demands of spaces.

    What is CBA?
    It is an assessment with the use of technology. (JISC, 2007)
    It is a practice of carrying out quizzes and tests in computer
    instead of the traditional paper and pencil.

    What is the difference between CBA and Computer-Assisted


    Assessment (CAA)?
    Computer is only used as part within the process of
    assessment. -

    What is the principal function of CBA?
    Formative – to give students feedback, to guide them, to
    diagnose problems in learning, to help staff teacher, to
    encourage students, and to give them the experience of
    assessment method.

    Summative – provide quality assurance checks both within the


    institution and externally, motivate students, judge student
    progression, and to award marks and enable final degree
    classification.
