Lasallian Studies 1: Seeing

with the Eyes of Faith

Module 1: Introduction and Course Orientation
Opening Prayer
Let us remember that we are in the holy and loving presence of
God.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
Heavenly Father, we are grateful for coming together in your
name to learn about your unconditional love for us. We lift up
to you this whole term that we are all adjusting to, due to the
current situation we are in.
Opening Prayer
We pray that despite the novel teaching and learning strategies
we expect to be delivered, we will continue to take to heart our
learning about the life of our founder, St. John Baptiste De La
Salle and the core values and virtues he embodied.
Opening Prayer

May we realize how he submitted to what You wanted him to do

and how this decision to say yes to you has left a magnanimous
legacy to all Lasallians like us.
Opening Prayer

Send us your Holy Spirit to emulate St. La Salle’s example of

doing your will and your work and imbed in us a docile and
humble heart to follow your will.
Opening Prayer
St. John Baptiste de La Salle,
Pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts,

Forever!
