Adaptive Features

Polar bears have adapted to survive in Arctic environments. They spend time on land, water, and ice. Their thick white fur and large bodies help them blend in on ice and retain heat in cold temperatures. They hunt seals, whales, and other marine animals for food. When seasons change, polar bears seek different food sources. Adaptations like fur, body shape, color, hibernation, migration, shelter, and protection behaviors help polar bears and other Arctic animals survive harsh Arctic conditions.

Adaptation in polar

bears
Where do they live ?

Finland and Iceland are also two more places where polar bear lives .
Polar bears spent their time on ..
Polar bear spent their time in land , water and ice.
They love being on the crack of the ice .
Food supplied
Polar bear eats bear
berries in summer.

The bearberries small


leaves ,white or pink
flowers and berries like
fruit .
Bearberries can be found in North America ,Asia an Europe.
When the seasons begins to change the polar bears need to
look for different sources of food .
Polar bears also hunt from water fishes , seals ,beluga
whales , walruses and narwhals to eat them .
Adaptations are characteristics that help an organism to
survive its environment and or / reproduce .
Adaption's can be physical or behavioural , but all are
involved with survival in environment .

are protected from weather
conditions is through fur or
fat
Many mammals for this area ,
tundra and also have thick
layers of blubber to keep

warm when temperatures are
warm . They look same in the
