What was the
verdict
Former Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla
Jr. is a free man after four years in jail on
plunder and graft charges.

Sandiganbayn's first division ruled that

the the prosecution failed to prove that
Revilla was guilty beyond reasonable
doubt for plunder.
The Sandiganbayan issued a release order for
Revilla on Friday, the same day he was acquitted of
plunder in the controversial pork barrel scam case.

As of graft case, The Sandiganbayan’s Special First

Division, in a narrow 3-2 vote, has acquitted Sen.
Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. of 16 counts of graft over
his alleged involvement in the multibillion-peso
pork barrel scam that was exposed in 2013.
