    As for Second Language Acquisition for Adults, most adult learners never
    fully become proficient in their second language.

    Second Language Acquisition


    Learning a second language is a different process than learning a first
    language.
    L2 learners already know a language, and so they tend to “transfer”
    phonological, syntactic, and morphological rules from their L1 to their L2.
