    Introduction

    • The main appeal for hand-held games has


    always been its portability.
    • Playing on-the-go has long appealed to
    video gamers because of its utility and
    because you can meet up with friends and
    game with them anywhere.

    Types of Hand-Held Devices
    It is a small portable self-contained video game console with a
    built-in screen, game controls and speakers.
    They make use of a variety of displays such as LED,VFD or
    LCD.
    In the past, best handheld games made you choose between
    limited specs (like a Nintendo Game Boy) and excessive power
    consumption (like a Sega Game Gear).
    At present, with hybrid console of Nintendo Switch, you can play
    in two ways. At home, you can the plug the switch into a dock and
    then play on your TV. When you have somewhere to go, simply
    unplug the switch from its dock, attach the Joy-Con controllers to
    either side of the device and bring it with you anywhere.

    Advantage: Introduction to technology under
    careful parental supervision.
    Disadvantage: Less physical activity and less

    Advantage: Playing with family to get family
    bonding experience.
    Disadvantage: Less activity in school and less

    Advantage: “Digital diet” and “digital
    nutrients” are important at this age.
    Disadvantage: These are the ages when most
    arguments and disobedience related to

    Conclusions
    • Video games can play a positive role in our
    children’s lives, but we need to be there to
    help set limits.
    • If you’re worried that your child is
    becoming too obsessed with games, then it
    is time to sit down and talk.
    • Try to agree on a reasonable amount of
    space for video games to occupy in your
