We use the verb must/ mustn’t to talk about rules (obligation)
 Must means: Do it !! SPELLING !!
 Mustn’t means: Don’t do it

The rule: must + base form of a verb MUST + NOT
After must there follows another verb

 Do not use do/does in negative sentences!

We use would + like to ask for something, or to offer something in a nice way
It is more polite than using want

I would like a sandwich or: I want a sandwich

 I’d like is the short form of I would like


 We almost always use I’d like in speaking and informal writing

Can (asking for permission)

We use Can I + verb to ask for permission to do something
