Type 0 – general truths/ facts/ real

Type 1 – things likely to happen in the future If + present simple, will + base verb If John comes late, we will not go out. If I have 5 Million rupiah, I will buy an Ipad. If you eat too much sugar, you will have stomachache.

If you eat too much sugar you will have stomachache Simple Present tense • Water (S) reaches (V1/es) 100 degree Celcius, it (S) boils (V1/s). • Subject Singular + V1 (s/es) + Object • Subject plural + V1 + Object • Subject plural + do + not + V1 + object • Subject singular + does + not + V1 +object Examples of type 0 • If you go to Japan in December, it is winter. • If you heat ice cream, it melts. • If I get sick, I will go to the doctor. (type 1) • If we burn paper, it becomes ash. • If you study grammar, it will get easier.
