Dishes like Sai Bhaji (a mix of vegetables), Sindhi Curry, Koki
(flatbread), and Sindhi Biryani are popular. The culture's
culinary identity is also reflected in sweets like Sohan Halwa
and Lolo.
FESTIVALS
Cheti Chand, the Sindhi New Year, is a major festival celebrated
with great enthusiasm. Sindhis also observe Diwali, Holi, Eid,
and other religious festivals. Chaliho Sahib, a 40-day period of
fasting and prayers, is another important tradition.
DIASPORA
Due to historical migrations, the Sindhi community has a global
presence. In places like India, Pakistan, and several other
countries, Sindhis have maintained their cultural identity while
adapting to local environments.
