We use the present simple to talk about facts, habits and everyday actions.
2) When the verb ends in ss, ch, sh, x, o, we add es in the third person singular.
Examples: watch watches go goes fix fixes
3) When the verb ends in a consonant ()حرف ساكن+ y, we change the y to i and add es.
Examples: study studies dry dries

expressions at the beginning or end of a sentence.

1) The pupils go to school everyday. 2) Dana cleans her room every Friday.
The pupils don’t go to school everyday. Dana doesn’t clean her room every Friday.
To form Yes/No questions, we begin with do or does. The verb always remains in its base form.
Yes/No Questions
1) The boys play tennis on Tuesdays. 2) Sara cleans her room once a
week.
Do the boys play tennis on Tuesdays? Does Sara clean her room once a
week?
Yes, they do./ No, they don’t Yes, she does./ No, she
doesn’t
