1. Do you have an English level certification? If not, what do you consider to

be your level at present?

• I don't have any English level certification. I consider my level of English to be B2.

It has been difficult to have a better level since you don't have the opportunity to

be able to speak English with other people who speak it well.

2. How did you get to the level you are now?

• I studied for two years at the Meyer Institute, but due to economic circumstances I

could not finish and now what I have learned studying at UNAD.
3. Why are you studying English as a foreign language?

• I study this career because it has always caught my attention to learn other

languages and the career as a teacher that despite the fact that it has been

difficult due to time and other factors, perseverance and motivation has been my

best tool to achieve it.

4. HOW IS STUDYING A LANGUAGE AS AN ADULT DIFFERENT FROM STUDYING IT AS A CHILD?

As children grow, they develop their cognitive skills It develops memory

and other cognitive skills, they learn naturally, they are not afraid to

make mistakes. Although adults tend to have more time to concentrate,

I think that if you manage to teach another language from a very early

age, the results will be better, since the child learns to speak with their

mother tongue. In the case of adults, most learn it because they want to

or because they need toobtener something they want. Like living in

another country, or being able to get better job opportunities.

5. HOW CAN YOU MAKE LANGUAGE LEARNING A
PART OF YOUR LIFE IN THE FUTURE?

Nowadays it is very easy to involve another language in our lives

since the use of technological tools has made everything easier, in

my case I watch movies in English, I try as much as possible to

make my readings in English and I even really like to read the bible

and download it on my cell phone with the English version. It's very

good because you learn a good vocabulary.
