wipes, pushes, and 3D motions.
• You can apply a different transition to each slide or use a
consistent transition style for the entire presentation.
To apply slide transitions:

• Go to the "Transitions" tab in PowerPoint.

options available.
• Adjust the speed and other settings if needed.
• You can apply different transitions to different slides
as per your preference.
ANIMATIONS:
• It can bring your presentation to life.
• Animations are effects applied to individual
elements within a slide, like text boxes, shapes,
images, or even charts.
There are various animation effects
categorized by their purpose:
• Entrance: Makes the object appear in a specific way (fly in,
bounce, etc.)
• Emphasis: Draws attention to the object after it's already there
(grow, spin, etc.)
• Exit: Makes the object disappear in a specific way (fade out, fly
out, etc.)
• Motion Paths: Allows you to define a custom path for the object
to move along during the presentation.
HERE'S HOW TO ADD ANIMATIONS:
1. Select the object you want to animate.
2. Go to the "Animations" tab in PowerPoint.
3. Choose an animation effect from the list of options (e.g., fade,
fly in, appear, etc.).
4. You can further customize the animation by adjusting the
direction, duration, and other settings.
5. Preview the animation to ensure it looks as desired.
TIMING AND SEQUENCING
ANIMATIONS
• Once you've added animations to objects,
you can control the timing and sequencing
to ensure they play out in the desired order
and timing
Animations can be triggered:
• On Click: Plays when you click the mouse during the
presentation.
• With Previous: Plays along with the previous slide's animation.
• After Previous: Plays after the previous slide's animation
finishes.
HERE'S HOW:
1. Select the animated object.
2. Go to the "Animations" tab.
3. Click on "Animation Pane" to open the Animation Pane window.
4. In the Animation Pane, you can see a list of all animations on the slide.
5. To adjust timing, click on the animation in the list and use the "Start"
dropdown to specify when it should begin (e.g., on click, with previous,
after previous).
6. You can also drag and drop animations in the Animation Pane to change
the sequence.
EFFECTIVE USE OF TRANSITIONS
AND ANIMATIONS:

• CLARITY OVER STYLE: Don't let fancy animations

distract from your content.
• CONSISTENCY: Maintain a consistent style for transitions
throughout the presentation for a polished look.
• SUBTLETY IS KEY: Use subtle animations to emphasize
key points, not overwhelm your audience.
