Equinox is derived from the Latin word
“Aequinoctium” meaning “The time of
equal days and night”
It is divided into Summer/Vernal and
Autumn/Fall Equinox. It happens in
March and September for the Northern
Hemisphere and vice versa for the
Southern Hemisphere
