Introduction
This project focuses on the development of a cyberbullying detection system using
artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI & ML). It aims to address the
pressing need for effective detection methods in digital spaces to safeguard
individuals from online harassment. By leveraging machine learning techniques and
deep learning architectures, the project seeks to accurately identify instances of
cyberbullying. Collaboration with stakeholders such as educators and policymakers
is integral to promoting a safer online environment. Ultimately, the project aims to
enhance intervention strategies, raise awareness about cyberbullying, and contribute
to combating online harassment and abuse.

Objectives
• Gain a strong foundation in Python programming for advanced applications.
• Develop skills in data handling using NumPy and pandas.
• Lay the groundwork for algorithm implementation and data analysis.
• Understand the importance of accurately predicting cyberbullying incidents.
• Establish project goals, timeline, and roles for effective project management.
• Collect relevant datasets on cyberbullying behavior from various sources.
• Enhance practical knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

WEEK-1
DATA COLLECTION AND ACQUISIATION
• Installed Anaconda, a Python distribution with data science tools.
• Set up Jupyter Notebook for interactive code, visualizations .
• Learned Python basics including variables, data types, operators,
control flow (if/else, loops), and functions. This week focused on
establishing the fundamental Python skills necessary for advanced
applications in data analysis and machine learning.

MODEL AND FEATURE ENGINEERING
• Learned about NumPy: A library for numerical computing in Python,
essential for array manipulation, mathematical functions, and
scientific computing, data analysis, and machine learning.
• Explored Pandas: A library for data manipulation and analysis,
utilizing data structures like Series and Data Frames.

WEEK-3
DEPLOYMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
• Focused on Pandas for in-depth data manipulation and exploration.
• Tasks included reading and writing data, cleaning data, filtering,
sorting, grouping data, and handling missing values.
• Learned data visualization using Matplotlib and Seaborn libraries to
create plots and charts for identifying patterns and trends within the
data.

EVALUATION AND REFLECTION
• Implemented model training: Utilized machine learning algorithms
to train models on the prepared data.
• Conducted model evaluation: Assessed the performance of the
trained models using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1
score.
• Explored continuous improvements: Iteratively refined the models
based on feedback and evaluation results to enhance performance.
