What is Solar Panel?


Solar panel is an assembly of photovoltaic cells which are installed in
a framework. Solar panel uses sunlight as a source of energy to
generate direct electricity.

On-Grid Solar System


- This is connected to your electricity bill grid.

- Electricity grid only works as battery,here the


electricity which is generated in access is
stored in grid and utilized during the evening
and night time.

- This helps us to net off the electricity bill, let


by exchange of electricity it is called as NET
METERING and is available across INDIA

- Net metering can be upto 500 KW or upto
Sanction load whichever is lower

- This is independent system which is your

Panel?
1. Consumption of electricity i.e. how much unit is consumed

2. Total amount of Shadow free space available


1 KW- 100 Sq Ft shadow free space is needed

3. What is the Sanctioned Load/Niyamit haar limit mentioned in Bill, because as per the rule any
consumer installing solar system cannot exceed Sanction Load.
In case want to increase the Sanction Load, it can be done from electricity department

4. Government Meter is needed for solar panel and Amount 1500 rs average

5. Roof Ownership, if in Appt than need to take NOC as minimum space required is 200 Sq.ft.

5. Maximum bill amount can be as per customers consumption of electricity in residential

● We will not disqualify the leads from Delhi for 1000rs Bill value, in such scenarios please probe
them if they know the unit and if it is above 200 then you can qualify them
Note: In Delhi, they get the subsidy and Cx is getting the bill amount after the reduction.

● For Ahmedabad electricity bill is generated once every 2 months, so we have to probe them if are
they informing us bill amount for 2 months or 1 month. If Cx says 2000 for 2 months then they are
not qualified.

1. If the customer is adamant about the budget and not providing required details.

We will apologize and educate the customer that we only collect details with respect to the requirement for Solar and we
need to check the available space, height, sun light source etc and as we also provide multi brand solar panels where
prices vary as per requirement. Post visit we will be able to provide you with the costing details.

2. How to reach Solar Square for further help?

Customers need to contact Customer Support from the Solar Square website.
( https://www.solarsquare.in/)

3. If a customer says a consultation was booked but nobody showed up.

Apologies to the customer and inform them “we could not complete the visit due to some operational constraints. We will
collect the details again and book the meeting.

4. Is it possible to shift the installed solar from one location to another?

It can be done but additional charges will be applied which includes uninstallation , installation and transport charges (if
different city).

5. Do we provide service to Farm houses?

If it is Ongrid ( rely on electricity ) then Yes we can process. If off grid ( with battery back up) then we can not.

6. If customer asks about Solar pro

Solar Pro is a person with leads and wants to do business with the SolarSquare team as a partner. Inform customers to
reach out to welisten@solarsquare.in and drop a mail.

7. What is the lifespan of a solar panel and is it waterproof?


Solar panel lifespan is 25+ years and it can sustain all the weather.

8. Can we install solar on tin sheet roofs?


Yes we can install solar on tin sheets but sustainability will be checked first and then we can process it. If the roof is made
of any other sheet then we can not (Kaccha chatt)

9. Can we install solar on ground / open land?

If a sun light source is available and not off grid requirement then we can proceed.

10. Can we club the meters from the same building?

Yes we can. If meter owners are from different buildings then we can not.

11. Can we club commercial and residential meters if they belong to the same owner?

We cannot club the commercial and residential meter in any case

12. Can we qualify if the customer has a private meter connection?

We do not qualify the private meter connection clients

13. How do we check the amount electricity generated by solar system?


The electricity bill that is generated post installation of Solar panel, is called SOLAR BILL gives the complete details of the
same. Can be checked from how much import export was done from GRID. Apart that can also check details from APP that
we provide you with

14. What all components are to installed at consumer end to set-up solar system?
Solar Panel, Inverter to convert DC to AC which can be used at home, Proper Galvanized zinc structure to avoid rustin and
cables for connecting.

15. How can I maintain my solar system for smooth functioning?


We also offer AMC. Which gives preventive, technical and mechanical maintenance. regular check up of system i.e all
electrical and mechanical connections are good.

16. On what solar panels is subsidy given by government?


Only in MADE IN INDIA solar panels get subsidy. as on now only POLY technology is available in INDIA. Will not get any
subsidy on MONO technology. We can offer both POLY and MONO. Subsidy available PAN INDIA

17. What is the difference between MONO and POLY Technology.


MONO technology is more space efficient than POLY Technology
i.e if POLY technology 1 panel gives give 330-350 KW power where MONO technology 1 panel gives you 450-550 KW
power.

18. Do we get any warranty on the components that are installed like on Solar panel/Inverter?
Yes, you 10 years of manufacturing warranty on modular and 25 years performance warranty and on inverters you get 5
years warranty so we suggested them to buy peer1 trusted brand Solar Modular Inverter

19. Do we need to clean Solar Panels?


Yes, we suggest to get it done and hence have AMC, because of dust and other sediments that get settles down on the
panel, which is cleaned with professional brushes.

20. DO we provide MONO, if any customer insist for MONO?


Yes, we can book consulting after telling that will be costlier and will not get subsidy.

22. Avg Bill — Solar System Requirement — Average Space Required


1000-2000 - 2KW - 200SqFt.
2000-3000 - 3KW - 300SqFt.
3000-4000 - 4KW - 400SqFt.
4000-5000 - 5KW - 500SqFt.
5000-6000 - 6KW - 600SqFt.
6000-7000 - 7KW - 700SqFt.
7000-8000 - 8KW - 800SqFt.

23. Can you tell me the approximate cost for 1kW/ 3kW/ 5kW/ x kW solar?
Sir/ Ma’am, our solar consultant will guide you on the solar solution suitable for your home and also on all related costs. I
am not aware of the commercials, my job is to line up the meeting for you with our solar consultant for further discussion.

24. Is EMI Facility available for buying solar? What’s the interest rate.
Yes Sir/ Ma’am. We do have easy EMI facilities available. Our solar consultant will surely guide you on the EMI options
available for your purchase. I am not aware of the exact details, my job is to line up the meeting for you with our solar
consultant for further discussion.

25. Which Solar panel does your company provide?


We work with a number of tiers I module brands such as Navitas/ Renewsys/ Premier/ Panasonic/ etc. Our solar consultant
will be able to give you exact details about this.

26. How many years is the product warranty?


○ Only with Solar Square, you will get a 12-15 year manufacturing defect warranty on solar modules.
○ You get a 5-year warranty on solar inverters.
○ You get a 10-year warranty on our pre-fabricated solar structures from SolarSquare

27. Who will we have to contact for warranty claims? SolarSquare or the module/ inverter brand?
○ We take care of end-to-end service for your solar system. If ever you need to claim a warranty - you can just call
Solar Square and we will coordinate a replacement with the manufacturer for your modules or inverter.

29. What do you provide - On-Grid Solar or Off-Grid Solar?


We primarily deal in On-Grid or Grid Connected rooftop solar for homes & commercial buildings.

30. Can we place the panels in the gallery or balcony?


Our solar consultant can evaluate the space available in your home for solar installation. But 99% of it is only feasible on
Rooftops.

34. What will be costing and discount that I will get on subsidy?
Subsidy depends upon KW solar system you take, so consultant will be right person once he visits

35. Can we club different meters in one Solar system, if are in same house?
Yes! it can be clubbed if all are in same house.

36. If any customer saying bill amount is less since gets subsidy?
Check for Unit consumption, the exact bill amount, Unit consumption minimum should be 240 Units.

37. If customer has applied for meter?


We will check if meter will be installed in 1 month, we would qualify the lead

1. Be prepared- Prepare yourself before you take calls.

2. First Impression is very important- If you are phone, the opening of calls is very
important. It is all you have got to. Just the words. Professional greeting and
proper opening of call.

3. Always carry a smile & Confident when on call- It reflects in you tone of voice

4. Be energetic in your tone - Never sound Dull and unclear

5. Build rapport with customer- Talk in pleasant and friendly tone, but professionally.

6. Let customer speak first- Take pause and allow customer to speak.

9. Probe with relevant questions- Use open ended and closed ended question
- Use open ended question to open up the conversation
- Use close ended questions to come to specific facts and for give resolutions
