WHAT IS TWO - WORD VERBS ?

Two-word verbs is also known as phrasal


verbs, are combinations of two or more words
that act as a single verb with a different
meaning than the individual words. They are
often informal and idiomatic, meaning that
the meaning of the verb is not easily
determined by adding the meanings of the
individual words
Here are some examples of two-word
verbs:
Means to find information from a book,
LOOK dictionary, online, or bus schedule

Means to observe or direct one's eyes at
