POWER IT UP
Proactive Optimization of Wide-Ranging Experiential and Rationalized Instruction towards Upgraded
Potentials
“Empowering every learner to reach new heights”
The project "Project I-LEAP: Inspiring Learners to Excel and Achieve Potential under Power It-Up banner
program is a comprehensive support program designed to inspire learners in Maragondon 2 District Schools to excel and
achieve their full potential. A stylized letter "I" or "LEAP" with a soaring bird or wing motif, symbolizing inspiration,
growth, and achievement. It encompasses a multi-tiered approach, offering targeted support and enrichment
opportunities for diverse learning needs and abilities, aligning with the POWER IT-UP program's commitment to Proactive
Optimizing of Wide-ranging Experiential and Rationalized Instruction Towards Upgrade Potentials. Project I-LEAP is
comprised of three distinct programs.

The Overall Objectives Project I-LEAP enhance academic performance and confidence to help all learners, regardless of
their starting point, make significant progress in their academic subjects. These also create a positive and nurturing
environment where learners feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive, foster social-emotional growth and well-
being. The learners are also developed to equip with the skills they need to think creatively, analyze information, and
solve problems effectively to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Additionally, these project
provide individualized support and enrichment by offering targeted interventions and enrichment opportunities that
cater to the unique needs and interests of each learner and inspire learners to believe in their abilities and strive for
excellence in all areas of their lives to empower learners to reach their full potential.

UNLOCK (Unlocking Novel Learning Opportunities and Cultivating Knowledge)


For pupils at risk, UNLOCK aims to provide engaging and accessible learning experiences to help them catch up
academically and build confidence. In engaging and accessing learning experiences these Project offer interactive
activities, hands-on projects, and technology-based learning to make learning more enjoyable and effective for at-risk
pupils. Early intervention strategies are employed to address learning gaps proactively, preventing academic struggles
from escalating. Additionally, In Building Confidence and Motivation these project create a supportive and encouraging
environment that helps at-risk pupils build confidence in their abilities and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
Table 1 presents the enrollment figures for the program, while Figure 1 offers a graphical representation of this data.

Interpretation:
The graph indicates that, among 55 learners enrolled in the
Intervention English subject, it attracted the highest number of
participants, followed closely by Math. Notably, Grade 1 had the
highest enrollment, while Grade 5 recorded the lowest.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the ESP subject had no
enrollees, EPP and MAPEH each had only one participant, while
Science and AP had four and six enrollees in Filipino, respectively.

ACHIEVE Excellence)

For remediation, ACHIEVE offers targeted support and individualized coaching to help pupils overcome specific learning
challenges and achieve their academic goals. The component of the project is to conduct thorough assessments for
them identify each learner's strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. It also has a big factor in developing
personalized learning plans that address individual needs that provide targeted support for Diagnostic Assessments and
Individualized Learning Plans. In conducting Remedial Classes and Workshops, these project offers structured support for
learners who need extra help in specific subjects or skills. It also provides small-group workshops or one-on-one
mentoring to address individual learning gaps. Furthermore, it also teach learners effective study habits, organizational
skills, and learning strategies to enhance their academic performance and independence to develop learning strategy

Interpretation:
The graph indicates that, among the 1,120 learners enrolled in remediation subjects, Mathematics had the highest number of
participants at 242, followed by Filipino with 143, Araling Panlipunan (AP) with 126, Science with 120, MAPEH with 125, and
Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (ESP) with 90. Additionally, the grade level with the highest enrollment is Grade 6, followed by Grade
5, Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 2, with Grade 1 having the lowest enrollment.

IGNITE (Igniting Potential, Nurturing Excellence in All Learning Areas)

For gifted pupils, IGNITE provides advanced learning opportunities, enrichment activities, and challenges that cater to
their unique abilities and interests. In advancing curriculum and enrichment activities the project IGNITE offer
specialized courses, workshops, and projects that delve deeper into specific subjects across all learning areas,
challenging students to think critically and creatively. Some of these involves Interdisciplinary Projects, wherein focus on
the combination of elements from different subject. It also provide students with opportunities to conduct independent
research projects in their areas of interest. Additionally, they invite experts from various fields to share their knowledge

Interpretation:

The graph indicates that among the 852
learners enrolled in the Enhancement
Program, the Sports Club has the highest
number of participants, followed by
Journalism, ESP, Leadership (BSP/GSP),
Math, and Reading Enhancement for both
English and Filipino. Other programs include
Technolympics, MAPEH, Filipino, AP, with CID
having the lowest participation. Additionally,
Grade 6 has the highest
number of participants, while
Grade 2 has the fewest.
