• Prejudice - is a negative or
unfavorable attitude, feeling,
or belief toward an individual
or group based on their
membership in a particular
category, such as their race,
gender, religion, ethnicity, or
other characteristics.
• stereotype - is a belief or
assumption about an
individual or a group of people
based on characteristics such
as their race, gender, age,
nationality, religion, or other
factors.
Types of
Prejudice: 1. Ageism: Prejudice against
people based on their age.

2. Sexism: Prejudice against


people based on their sex or
gender.

3. Racism: Prejudice against


people based on their race or
ethnicity.

mistakes because they trick our brains into making
unfair judgement. They’re like taking a short cut without
looking at the whole picture. We assume everyone in a
group is the same, even though people are all different.
• Making them feel bad: Its makes people feel like they
are not good enough or are judge before they even
have a chance to show who they are.
• Limiting opportunities: prejudice can keep people from
getting jobs, education or even just friendships.
• Causing stress and anxiety: Constantly being judged
and discriminated against can be very stressful and
make it hard to live a happy life. That can lead to
anxiety, depression and even physical health problem.
