    God revealed His nature and attributes through His creative acts (Days 1-6)

    1. The earth was formless and covered with darkness



    Read Genesis 1:1-2 The earth was formless:- It means total disorder, unprepared, empty Light did not exist:- Total darkness Dry land did not exist:- water covered the whole earth

    2. God the Spirit was present, ready to begin creating everything


    Read Genesis 1:2 And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters Spirit is ready to make everything with almighty power. Holy Spirit who created every thing

    3. On the first day, God created light


    Read Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light God commanded the light to shine How did God know how to make light? Was it difficult for God to make light? God created light because He is loving and Kind Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness Everything that God made is good because God is perfect Genesis 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

    4. On the second day, God created the air and the sky
    Genesis 1:6-8 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. God continued His work of creation on the second day God placed water above the sky

    5. On the third day, God moved the waters from the land to make dry land and oceans. God created all plants.
    Psalms 104:5-9 Who laid the foundations of the earth, That it should not be moved for ever. Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a vesture; The waters stood above the mountains. At thy rebuke they fled; At the voice of thy thunder they hasted away (The mountains rose, the valleys sank down). Unto the place which thou hadst founded for them. Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; That they turn not again to cover the earth Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. God moved the waters from the land

    Genesis 1:11-13 And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, [and] fruit-trees bearing fruit after their kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after their kind: and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. God created all the plants and trees God made all the tress and everything else in an orderly way God created the tress and plants for a specific purpose Everything that God made in the beginning was good

    6. On the fourth day, God created the sun, moon and stars
    Genesis 1:14-19 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years: and let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made the two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

    God created the sun, the moon and the stars just by speaking God placed the sun, moon and stars high in the sky God keep the sun, moon and stars in the sky by His power God made the sun, moon and stars to follow an orderly pattern The sun, the moon and stars that God created were all very good

    7. On the fifth day, God created all sea life and birds
    Genesis 1:20-23 And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created the great sea-monsters, and every living creature that moveth, wherewith the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth. And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

    God spoke and filled the waters with living creatures and the sky with birds Only God could make fish and birds that have life Only God can make creatures that can reproduce young ones like themselves

    8. On the sixth day, God created the animals


    Genesis 1:24-25 And God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beasts of the earth after their kind: and it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the ground after its kind: and God saw that it was good.

    God created animals God made the animals by His great power God knows everything so He was able to make all the animals just the way He wanted

    9. God created everything by His great power and wisdom


    God knew how to make everything because God is almighty and knows everything Look around you at the many things that God created
