Since 1947, the Tarleton Rodeo Association has been part of a winning tradition, earning 37 National Championship titles. As one of the largest teams in the nation, with 164 student members in 2022-2023, the program is supported by university leadership, alumni, and the Stephenville community. Led by Director and Head Coach Mark Eakin, along with a dedicated staff, Tarleton Rodeo continues to uphold its legacy of excellence both in and out of the arena.

With over 20 ensembles across Athletic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Studies, and Chamber Ensembles, Tarleton’s band program offers many performance opportunities for students of all majors. From campus events to high-profile festivals and conferences, our top ensembles proudly represent Tarleton’s mission while showcasing a wide range of musical styles and genres.

Tarleton State University offers ROTC programs for the Army, Air Force, Space Force, and Marine Corps, providing comprehensive training to develop leadership, discipline, and military skills. Students gain hands-on experience and real-world knowledge, preparing them for successful careers as U.S. Military Officers in their chosen branch.
