What We Like
  • An abundance of things to do means you’ll be recharged and stimulated without leaving the resort.

What to Consider
  • Rooms do not have televisions, but this is a plus for some.

Curtain Bluff wows travelers with its two private beaches, delicious restaurants, and intimate wine cellar, which features vintages from around the world. However, what keeps its repeat guest rate at more than 65 percent is the tradition and resort history that has been beloved since the luxe resort opened its doors in 1962.

After a glamorous multi-million dollar makeover in 2023, including a swanky new wellness center and an adults-only pool, the resort continues to top the list of best all-inclusive resorts in Antigua. Maybe that's why it has been a World's Best Award-winner in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Each of its 72 rooms comes with its own front-row seat to the ocean, and the resort offers an impressive variety of water sports and land activities that are included in the price of your stay.

Know Before You Go

Beware of hurricane season.

Traditionally, the most popular time to visit Antigua is between December and April, the dry season. Most travelers are advised to avoid the time between August and October, which is hurricane season. Prices may be lower during this time, but always book travel insurance just in case.

Antigua is not Antigua.

Antigua, the Caribbean island, is not the same as Antigua, the beautiful historic city in Guatemala. Make sure you know which Antigua you're researching.

Read the fine print.

Even though a resort advertises itself as all-inclusive, some things are actually included. Check to see what the all-inclusive package entails, whether it's a limit on alcohol brands or menu items, spa treatments, or activities.

How We Chose These Hotels

Antigua is blessed with quite a few resorts for such a small island. The best all-inclusive resorts in Antigua were selected based on their top ratings and expert recommendations, as well as their priority on design, cuisine, room amenities, and resort offerings. Meagan Drillinger has visited hundreds of all-inclusive resorts during her 15-year career. She used her personal experiences and those ranked on Travel + Leisure's World's Best Awards to narrow the list. These resorts adhere to our T+L Hotel Values.
