Equity and Inclusion Travel Support

The National Science Foundation has studied the representation of different groups of people in the science and engineering fields, and noted that representation of certain groups differs from their proportion of the U.S. population. In an effort to lower barriers to participation, Unidata is offering a limited number of grants covering travel, lodging, and workshop registration costs to students, faculty, and staff who are associated with U.S. academic institutions and who identify as members of these historically underrepresented groups.

If you identify as a member of one of the groups listed below, and the costs associated with traveling to this workshop would prevent you from attending, check the “I would like travel support under the Equity and Inclusion Support Program” in the RegOnline registration process. We will accept applications through May 17, 2018, and will notify applicants by May 21st as to the status of their request.
