Parking

Parking at UMC
Pre-paid parking permits allow you to use lot 204 (click to enlarge)

There is parking available at the hotel for $16/day.

If you are not able to use the workshop shuttle or the HOP bus and need to drive to the workshop, there are a limited number of parking permits available for purchase, allowing you to park in lot #204 near the UMC. Permits cost $20 and are good for the entire week of the workshop. To purchase a parking permit, visit https://cuboulder.pmreserve.com/ and select "UCAR Unidata Triennial Workshop." You will need to enter your vehicle information (incl. license plate) and credit card. If you have a rental car for the week, you can still log into the site and purchase a permit the day you pick up the car. Please note our assigned parking lot #204 is about a 2-minute walk to the UMC Building at 1669 Euclid Avenue.

Note: You do NOT need to create an account at CU for the parking permit but please keep a copy of the confirmation message you receive.

We have a limited number of week-long parking permits available for a lot near the UMC. If you need to be able to drive to the workshop venue, please contact the Workshop Coordinator to discuss options.

If you need to park on campus but don't need the full week's permit, there are short term parking options. (Note: the Euclid parking garage will be closed during the workshop.)
