The U.S. and India partner to advance global health priorities in line with India’s National Health Policy.  Founded on decades of collaboration, USAID’s partnerships drive innovation and technology, build equitable, climate-resilient healthcare access, and strengthen public and private partnerships to enhance India’s healthcare system and extend solutions globally.

Our Impact

USAID and India’s collaboration has led to major advancements in health, including the development of the first social impact bond for improved newborn care, online services for youth and people living with HIV, and a nutrition package for over 20 million TB patients.  AI-driven disease surveillance tools have enhanced global health security by preventing an estimated 230 outbreaks, while regional and global health exchanges of best practices drive progress nationally and internationally.
