Areas of fog are expected to develop late tonight through Monday morning for areas generally off the Caprock, although fog may reach as far west as Lubbock. Patchy dense fog leading to reduced visibilities are possible, particularly for low-lying areas. Use caution if traveling during this time.
Areas of patchy fog expected Off the Caprock tonight through mid-morning Monday. Mild and partly cloudy conditions will prevail with lingering stratus clearing from west to east. Southwest winds will help warm temperatures, before an afternoon front approaches from the north with cooler temperatures following in its wake. #lubwx #txwx
Temperatures will remain mild this week for Lubbock and the surrounding areas beneath passing clouds. Fog is forecast for Monday morning, and could be dense. Breezy conditions are also expected on Christmas Day as southwesterly winds ramp up to 15-25 mph. The forecast remains dry heading into next weekend.
