4th Assessment Report Summary for Policymakers of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is scheduled to be released on February 2, 2007 in Paris, France. The IPCC has been established to assess scientific, technical and socio- economic information relevant for the understanding of climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation. This summary will provide information on recent progress made in
