from the northwest. Winds shifted to become southwesterly,

Lake effect snow will continue to taper off tonight under the
influence of high pressure to the south, allowing for a brief
break from snow before a low pressure system moves into the region
on Wednesday. Another round of lake effect snow is expected later
this week as the low pressure system moves through.
This will be the last Storm Summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
