Baseball fans, you can’t miss the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. A Louisville slugger bat said to be the biggest in the world (it weighs 34 tons and stands 120 feet high) is propped outside. If you buy tickets to go in, you’ll learn the story of baseball and see how bats go “from forest to field.” Explore interactive exhibits, baseball memorabilia, a replica dugout and a 15-ton sculpture of a baseball mitt and ball. Check out Hank Aaron’s 700th home run bat; game bats used by Willie May and Ken Griffey Jr.; artifacts that belonged to Johnny Bench, history’s best slugging catcher; and more. The Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is located at 800 W. Main St. in Louisville, Kentucky.
