Honey & Crumb on Instagram: "the angle, quantity, and pattern of your scores all play a huge role in how your loaf expands in the oven and how it looks at the end. if you skip the scoring, your loaf won’t reach its full potential and might even burst along the sides. as bakers get more experienced, scoring becomes a way to get the exact rise they want—and it can even turn into a signature style! it’s my favorite part of the process because it lets you get creative and make your loaf stand out. for a better rise and more defined ears, keep your cuts shallow and at a very low angle—think almost horizontal to the dough. also, don’t skip that overnight cold ferment! the extra time in the fridge firms up the dough, making it way easier to score. #sourdoughtips #sourdougheducation #microbaker
Amy Coyne | Sourdough recipes & help with your bakes on Instagram: "Cinnamon rolls, but way easier. Have you made it yet?! https://amybakesbread.com/cinnamon-roll-sourdough-focaccia/ This sourdough cinnamon roll focaccia has all the gooey, cinnamon-sugar goodness without the extra work. No rolling, no shaping—just dump the dough into a pan, swirl in the cinnamon sugar, let it rise and bake. The result? Crispy edges, a soft center, and a sweet cream cheese glaze that ties it all together. If you love cinnamon rolls but want a simpler method, this recipe is for you. Comment “LINK” and I’ll send the recipe your way or grab it on my website! #sourdough #sourdoughbaking #sourdoughbread #sourdoughfocaccia #cinnamonrolls"

Be sure to follow to see how and comment “Teach Me” to be the first to know when my beginners sourdough guide is available! Making sourdough takes allll day, so I try to make a big batch and then I don’t have to make it as often! This is how I do it! 👩🏼‍🍳I make a double batch of my sourdough recipe(you can find it on my blog) and it makes four loaves. 🍞After they cool, I slice them all and put them in gallon bags. 🥶One goes in the fridge for us to eat and the other three get the air sucked out of them and then tossed in the freezer until we’re ready for them! 🧈When we are ready for
Amy Coyne | Sourdough recipes & help with your bakes on Instagram: "This sourdough disappeared faster than ANY loaf I’ve ever made—gone in 10 minutes flat. You HAVE to try it: https://amybakesbread.com/caramelized-onion-sourdough-bread/ Caramelized onion jam sourdough is something special. I use @eatdivina’s caramelized onion jam (my favorite store-bought option), but you can also make your own or caramelize diced onions—just let them cool before adding to the dough. Asiago cheese is my go-to, but I’ve also used a four-cheese blend, and any semi-hard cheese will work beautifully. I fold the onion jam and cheese into my favorite sourdough artisan bread recipe during the second stretch and fold, though lamination works too. If you already have a favorite sourdough recipe, you can use that—
