321K views · 18K reactions | Adana Kebab - Recipe Below - this is one of the mightiest kebabs around, the Turkish Adana Kebab. It’s a lovely spicy lamb kebab that you have to try for yourself. Make sure you use fatty lamb - about 20% fat - so it’s super juicy. Enjoy x JGS Serves 4 ½ red pepper 600g 20% fat lamb 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp Turkish pepper flakes Salt For the salad 1 white onion, finely chopped A large handful of roughly chopped parsley leaves 2 tsp sumac The juice of ½ a lemon Breads to serve 1. Finely chop the red pepper and run your knife through it like you would do with herbs so it’s super fine. Squeeze out the juice from the peppers and chuck them into a bowl. 2. Add the lamb, paprika, Turkish pepper flakes and a huge pinch of salt. Mix really well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up. 3. Meanwhile, mix the onion with the parsley, sumac and lemon juice. 4. Pre-heat the BBQ to high. Divide the meat into four and thread onto skewers and BBQ for 3-4 minutes a side or until cooked through and juicy. Serve with the salad, breads and any other bits and bobs you like . #kebab #turkishfood #easyrecipes | John Gregory-Smith
