公共放送局がオープンソース・ソフトウェア・ポータル開始 - SourceForge.JP Magazine
先月、ニューヨーク州北部の小さなラジオ局が、非営利放送局向けオープンソース・ソフトウェア・コミュニティを開始した。独自のコンテンツ管理システム（CMS）がこのサイトの最初のプロジェクトとしてホストされている。 ニューヨーク州カントンのNorth Country Public Radio（NCPR）は27局で構成されるラジオ放送ネットワークだ。NCPRは2月20日、PubForgeを立ち上げた。このサイトは、公共放送局向けフリー／オープンソース・ソフトウェア（FOSS）センターとして作られた。NCPRのWebマネージャDale Hobson氏は、こうした情報を一箇所に集めて簡単に利用できるようにすることで、公共放送各局がサイト自動化によってWebをより有効に活用する助けとなると話す。 PubForge初の目玉プロジェクトはPublic Media Manager（PMM）。Hobson氏と
