Andrew Syme was born on the 6th July, 1980 in Blackpool, a popular seaside resort in Lancashire in the United Kingdom. He was very interested in Music and IT at school, and went on to study computers further at College and later University. Andrew, or Andy as he is known to his friends, holds a BSc(hons.) in Computing and Media Technology, awarded by the University of Central Lancashire. He is also a member of the British Computer Society. Now working at a School in Preston as the Network Manager, he remains focused on furthering his knowledge in all aspects of computing and IT, as well as maintaining interests in local history and certain performing arts, such as music, magic and juggling.
