Lake Eufaula

[edit]

The article currently says Kiamichi Country "contains Oklahoma's largest lake by surface area, Eufaula Lake." But isn't much, perhaps even most(?), of Lake Eufaula in McIntosh County—which is in Green Country? GreenGourd 17:58, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge and rename

[edit]

I am proposing a merge of Little Dixie (Oklahoma) into this article, and also a rename of this article to Southeastern Oklahoma. The two articles are obviously attempting to cover the same material, and Southeastern Oklahoma seems to be the more common name for the area. If anyone would like to discuss the merge, I ask that it please be done at Talk:Little Dixie (Oklahoma) as it would be nice to keep the discussion in one place. If you would like to discuss the move to "Southeastern Oklahoma", here would be as good a place as any. Thanks :) Okiefromokla complaints 21:03, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I responded at Talk:Little Dixie (Oklahoma). Unless I'm confused, however, there you say you prefer to keep a separate entry for Little Dixie (Oklahoma), and I agree with that. In general, I think the concepts you've listed are sufficiently separate to justify separate entries. Best wishes. GreenGourd (talk) 00:43, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
