Consolidated South Loop Terminal

[edit]

In doing some research for Chicago Railroad Fair, I uncovered some chatter about plans in the late 40s to build a Consolidated South Loop Terminal. I'd like to write an article about this, but since it never came to fruition, I don't know if I should, or if I do, where it should go. Slambo or SPUI or anyone else: what do you think? Sorry for the delayed reply, this page is not on my watchlist. I think the best place for it, depending on the amount of information, is probably a section in Railroad terminals of Chicago with a redirect from the station's proposed name. Slambo (Speak) 13:26, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Columbian Exposition Station=Museum Campus/11th Street?

[edit]

I hate to ask a question twice, but according to this map, the "World's Fair Station" is also Roosevelt Road (Metra). Does this mean we can redirect World's Columbian Exposition Terminal Station to Museum Campus/11th Street Station, and add the history to that article? ----DanTD (talk) 14:25, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just got the word from Metra that the 1933 World's Fair station is Museum Campus/11th Street, but the 1893 one was in Jackson Park and torn down with the rest of the World's Fair. ----DanTD (talk) 17:28, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
