Sometimes also reconstructed as *dʰuHmós. The reconstruction of root-final laryngeal *h₂ is based on Hittite 𒀭𒌅𒉿𒀪𒄩𒀸 (antuwaḫḫaš, human) and [script needed] (tuḫḫae-, to produce smoke).
