William L. Taylor is a partner in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s corporate department. His responsibilities include representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings. He also has extensive experience in U.S. and international securities offerings. He joined Davis Polk in 1989 and became a partner in 1995. Mr. Taylor is a member of the Session of Redeemer Presbyterian Church West Side, a former member of the Manhattan Advisory Board of the Salvation Army and a former participant in the Student Sponsor Partners mentoring and sponsorship program. In 1986, he received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was a note editor of the Yale Law Journal.
