Sorry, I am one of contributors. So this is only in my opionion. "opencv.org" says "OpenCV is open source, ..." ( See https://opencv.org/ ) This patch changes "an open source" to "a free software". So maybe it is better to show why is it changed . See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Free_Software_Definition |

I agree with you, after OpenCV 4.5.0, OpenCV uses "Apache 2 Lincense", so I believe it is better to replace this part at least . opencv/cmake/OpenCVPackaging.cmake Line 15 in ea023b7 |
