The University of Kentucky Lewis Honors College hosted the sixth iteration of the biennial Honors Education at Research Universities conference "Dialogue, Debate, and Discourse: Having the Hard Conversations" with featured speakers Professor Irshad Manji and Dr. Sigal Ben-Porath on May 20-May 22, 2024.

Every other year, HERU member schools gather to share successes, challenges, and resources with each other in the hope of strengthening our shared knowledge and commitment to the students we serve. The seventh HERU 2026 conference will be held by Barrrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University.
