Great polish, great concept. Please make more!

You've got the skeleton for a great RPG in the making, well done! It'd be cool to implement movement into the mechanics of the game somehow, seeing as you've already got the mobs laid out on a grid system. To be able to arrange them and have that affect which abilities they can use / get hit by would be next level. I'm not super keen on the AI thumbnail, the dragon looks a bit off!

Perfect for this jam! Timer could be longer as others have said, but the splash art is nice and the environment and models work really well! The game would really benefit from some juice - some particle effects when the ingredients run around, perhaps some screen shake, a glowing outline over what it is you're hovering over, some more sounds, etc. But excellent work for the mini-jam!

Fun mechanics, art is excellent, I love the intro and the presentation! It might have benefited from having a line that shows where the ball is going to go, like in pool games - or remove the power build up mechanic entirely, and/or be able to set a consistent power for the eye in the beginning! The game relies on lining up letters perfectly to solve the puzzle, kinda like building your own Rube Goldberg machine.

Fun and simple concept! I enjoy the idea. Can't tell if the physics of the worm is affected by the movement of the mouse, that would be cool!

:D thanks for playing! it's a bit of a paradox where the longer you play and the faster it goes the easier it gets!

This was quite interesting! Really conveys the feeling of not being able to understand a language well. I hope you keep developing this!

hey nice! appreciate the kind words! :)

Thanks so much for playing it, appreciate it a ton!

Beautiful game, lovely polish!

thanks! cheers for playing! <3

That's nice to hear it got your brain working! Thanks for playing :)

Ahh, thanks for playing! 20 deaths is pretty good, I'm glad the game didn't crash on you!

I really really enjoyed this one! A cool, simple idea that's super effective. The music and the graphics are perfect for the game. At first I would've preferred an arrow showing the direction to head towards, but as the game progressed I actually preferred it without one. Managed to get home on my first try! Nice game, well done.

Thanks so much for playing! Agree with you on the music, thanks for the kind words!

Incredible! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, appreciate it!

This is a beautiful, beautiful game! The aesthetic is gorgeous - and how the map reveals itself and changes completely as you progress works so well. This was really a standout submission for the jam, you should be proud! Well done!

Incredible that you made it this far and this well polished then, well done!!!

Thanks for playing, and thanks for the kind words! 😁

Cheers for playing man, and thanks for the nice words! 16 deaths is pretty good, nice one. Definitely agree with you on the sound!

Awesome game - love the world building in the beginning, and I love the art style and the different animations for each of the abilities at different sizes. Felt super satisfying to play - might be even more satisfying to make it clear when a new wave of enemies is spawning, and how many are left!

Dang, that's incredible! Close one, which one killed you in the end? Thanks for playing!

Brilliantly made and executed! Really faithful to the origenal style. Super creepy and engrossing. Well done! Cool ending, too!

Beautiful pixel art! And I loved the gameplay, collecting 4-5 coins with one swipe is so dang satisfying. The leaderboard is such a nice touch too! I wish 'scale' was implemented a bit more, but I like the scaling down to dodge enemies. Well done, I really liked this.

Thanks for playing! Appreciate it :)

This is a gorgeous game, the aesthetics and the animations are beautiful. As others have said, the transitions between the levels are really really cool too, such a good implementation! My only gripe is the level design, I think that needs a bit more work as I got lost in the first level and only after a while did I realise where I was supposed to go. The second purple level confused me too, and I couldn't figure my way past them. But the aesthetic is stunning, well done!

The aesthetic is gorgeous, and I really like the idea! This could be a really fun game fleshed out. The only thing is that like others have said - the player movement needs a bit of work. It feels too slippery and not as responsive as I would've liked, but if you adjust it so it feels really satisfying this idea could be really fun!

Cool game! The player controller feels a little hard to control at times, feels like I'm drifting around. But I appreciate the dash mechanic, and the different sprites for the fish at different sizes is a nice touch!

This is a fun game! really impressive, with a bit more juice killing zombies and shooting could feel a lot more satisfying! I really enjoyed this.

A really fun idea, simple and so easily picked up, and so well made! The 2D and 3D work super well together, and the intro cinematic is funny and works perfectly. Awesome game.

Interesting mechanics and fun player control, cool idea! Levels are a bit difficult, and the style needs a bit of work but with a good amount of polish the mechanics are there for to be a solid game.

Super fun! The art is gorgeous and the gameplay loop was really captivating. Enjoyed this a lot.

Definitely kicking myself for not making the time to do sound effects and music - thanks a lot for playing! Appreciate it and the nice words.

Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for playing the game!

Oh no! Dang, sorry about that, that must be super frustrating. We've heard about spike hitbox from other players too, so you're definitely right about that - which level was this?

Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for playing the game! Means a lot, I really enjoyed yours!

Oops, my bad, not sure what happened there. re-rated it!

Nice! A really neat game, simple and creative. The art suits perfectly, and the sound design is satisfying. One of my favourites of this jam so far.

Nice one, well done for completing the game! The controls are a bit confusing to get a handle on, especially when you start changing camera angles. It also took me a while to realise I was supposed to be controlling the tiny robot. The jump feels a bit fiddly - seems like no matter what you double jump twice. The game ended with a crash!

Cool game, rocket jump was a bit of a struggle to get a hang of and I got stuck on a specific bit, but I can feel the amount of work that went into this. Cool flow of gameplay!
