The controls were deliberately supposed to be a bit out of control but I know what you mean. Maybe in a future update I can tweak it to be a bit more readable. That way it will be easier to recover a miss timed jump.

This idea would make such a great rogue-like game! I think you should consider expanding on it and adding character customisation while in game rather than a menu, like picking up enemy parts from defeated enemies. But really well done for just 48hours!
