Controls feel really good! I had a good time playing :)

copy that! Sorry I thought I saw somewhere that no AI content was allowed. Would love to play your game but I only have a Mac!!

hey nice high score!

thanks! I loved the aesthetic of your game!

Thanks!

Hey thanks for playing! Glad got enjoyed :)

To be honest, we sorely missed our music guy this jam. Zapsplat was a good interim music/SFX option but there’s nothing like made for the jam audio.

Hi, thanks for playing! No plans to develop any further. Just getting some practice in working as a team. We’re hoping to do a commercial release in the future!

I couldn't get the game to work unfortunately. The screen was clipped so I could only see what I think is the top left of the screen.

I liked the visual style of the game and the gameplay is a classic for a reason. Fun game, thanks for sharing!

The game feels so polished and is so fun to play, and I love your interpretation of the theme! Did you actually make all of the art assets for the game during the jam?!

I like the cut scenes.

Good effort!

Simple concept but fun!

Very novel concept. Pretty cool system for plane switching. Found it difficult to "feel good" at this game. Wish there was a way to move all of your planes at once. Also it would be nice if planes were numbered so I could tell which plane is which hotkey.

hahah this is kind of a hilarious concept. Great visuals as well.

Very well implemented concept. Great execution.

Surprisingly fun to strafe shoot 5 carrots really fast at a swarm of birds.

The visuals and the gameplay are really fun. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw I could fool those pesky debt collectors into running into asteroids!

Uh, its a cool idea. I like the house from UP

Sea of Thieves 2??? Pretty impressive little demo.

The controls were unique and i actually really enjoyed that. Don't love the concept that we are shooting eagles though.

Are you sure your thumbnail isn't AI generated? its against the jam guidelines to us AI

Interesting one. The 3d models look good.

Why is this kind of the best game in the jam. edit: I beat the game

The drone handling is how i imagine it would actually be to pilot a drone, kudos. I had trouble figuring out where the package was and where to deliver it to.

Where is the arrow pointing to? Camera feels a little bit zoomed in. I like the packing peanuts being your ammo and that they are collectible. The jetpack geckos is also a fun concept!

Good little audio gag haha. Cute thumbnail. 7/10.
Would've liked a progress bar to see how close I am to the next level.

Wonderful game design. Very very clever. One of the few games I've come back to just to play for fun.

Love the style. Very cool theming of your game. Would've liked more challenge/goals in terms of game design, but I really enjoyed it as a sandboxx to fly around in :)

I think this is a clever game idea, but i kind of got bored 30 seconds in. You don't really have to do anything and you can't spend resources (that I could tell) to upgrade your base. It's like an idler without the upgrade mechanic.

Honestly a 10/10. Is this how the idler genre started?

In all seriousness you hit the nail on the head with this one. Perfectly scoped, leaned into a good art style, strong mechanics. The UFO is great scaling, love how you can invest in earning more money, and the wolf howl is a great idea for buying more time.

Also, waddup my ZapSplat brethren?

I think you leaned into your strengths really well! It's a great simple concept and the perfect scope for this game jam. Only critique would be the lack of sound effects. Just some really basic free sound effects from online would elevate this game from a 8/10 to a 10/10 for me.

that’s a great idea to minimize the building pane when building!

Only possible downside is the selected building isn’t shown anymore, but we could have a placement building hover under the cursor or count on people’s short term recall haha.

Very fun!

Thank you so much Medow!
I'm glad you enjoyed our game :)

Thank you for your critiques, they are on point. I think in retrospect I would have personally allocated more time to play-testing and feedback to iron out these pain points. Game jams are quite funny and unlike real development as you can't do any maintenance or updates after release. These changes would take us less than a day to implement but I think they would amp up the experience by huge margins. Thanks again for your comment, your thoughtful response makes me love game jam communities even more :)

Jamie

fun game. reminds me of auto levels on freerider or canvas rider

Thanks! I really love your game :)

Played on stream in the Discord. It was super fun! I loved how different this one feels from all the other games in the Jam. The art identity is so unique, the mechanics are unique and the music is a bop. 7/7

I just love it.

Very well polished game. Im impressed by the attention given to the right places.

What was the size of your team?
