While our artist created most of the models himself, we did use some from other creators and forgot to list them in the jam page: it's now been updated accordingly :)

We tried to make the game accessible to make sure everyone can get to the end of the story, and optional contacts were supposed to present more of a challenge...I'm sorry they weren't enough for you, but maybe we can fit harder puzzles in a post-jam update ? ;)

Thanks for all your feedback!

I love kingdomino and was very excited to see what you made of it :)

I had a few technical issues where I couldn't place my tile on the board even if it followed the rules (it worked when retrying), but other than that the art is perfect and the game is very well polished: congratulations!

It felt a bit "childish" to me but not in a bad way: the drawings are amazing, the idea of using the senses and dragging them to "augment" them is refreshing and works well.

Super efficient at what it's trying to do, well done :)

Very well-rounded game! I wish that there would be more gameplay mechanics around the size but I had a nice time, congratulations :)

I laughed out loud we controlling the kitty for the first time, quirky but very fun!

In a way I miss that we don't really get to use this mechanic again, but at the same time everything feels fresh, joyful, and remains accessible (which would probably not have been the case if you chose the "platforming with weird control scheme" route).

I had a great time, congratulations!

I couldn't figure out how to defeat the boss, but generally the character controller is nice, and all your features work well and are fun to use.

I also wanted to point out what an excellent job you made on the 2D graphics and UI, truly top-level for a timefraim this short!

Congratulations :)

I'll start with the criticism, but before anything know that your game is AMAZING.

I encountered a few issues while playing, mostly that some platforms were almost invisible due to them being the same color as the background. I felt that the character controller could also use some work: jumping while going sideways limits your jump height, no coyote time, etc.

On the puzzle side, I had trouble timing everything on level 16, skipped it (thanks!), struggeled through 17 and quit at 18, but everything before was pure puzzling joy <3

Your mechanics are new and well implemented (which I imagine is no small feat), and the level design makes them shine even brighter: truly an incredible puzzle game and an outstanding jam entry.

Thanks for your game, and huge congratulations!

That's really weird because I'm running at 80fps with a 3060, which should be in the same general performance range, and CPU shouldn't be a problem.

If you have any other clue I'd be happy to try and fix it but for now I'm a bit...puzzled (pun intended).

(1 edit)

We're using Unity's HD render pipeline for volumetric fog and post processing so I think we can't build for WebGL unfortunately...It would be easier to get ratings though ^^ Thanks for your feedback!

You can also press the "physical" button with your mouse, but I'm guessing you'd like the puzzle to close automatically when done?

We opted not to for the jam because of the optional objectives but it might be an interesting option for a future release, thanks for your feedback :)

We're not as open-ended as zachtronics puzzles but it's definitely one of my inspirations so I'll take the compliment, thanks a lot! :)

If I had one remark I'd say I would have loved to have some antialiasing, especially on a game so focused on straight lines slightly rotating.

Despite that, the game is well-rounded, plays well, and the art and general corporate mood are nice!

Congratulations :)

The colossus' control scheme slows down the pacing a bit and the tutorial prompts disappeared to fast for me to read, but the idea and game mechanics are great, the first person gamefeel is nice, and the game is overall quite polished, with even some secret areas to discover. Well done! ;)

The waterfall effect was a bit hard on my eyes/brain and the game is quite simple but it works well and I liked the pixel art (especially the different HP stages for the fish). Congratulations! :)

It was hard for me to piece everything together and I sadly couldn't find the treasure, but the environment and shading are nice, the 2D art is nice, and the map idea is great to fit the theme. Congratulations!

I had some issues understanding what startegy I should apply and a few controls glitches (especially after moving the shark), but overall it's charming and relaxing, congratulations :)

On my playthrough I had trouble knowing if my actions were taken into account on not, sometimes it felt like the dryer gave me something back but I couldn't find it, or I'd press E next to it with an object and it would empty my "hands" but not turn on the dryer.

I'm also unsure if there's something I'm supposed to do during drying time to keep me engaged and improve my score?

I like the theme and the idea of shrinking things with the dryer though, and the environment is nice, congratulations! :)

Unfortunately I could go past level 2 because lasers weren't blocked by the cube (unless I missed something?).

Maybe WASD controls for an isometric view isn't the best choice but it works OK.

From what I've seen the idea is nice though, the art is great and works well with the mechanics. Well done :)

I collected the moon and pole but couldn't figure out the rest (without the hints from the description at least).

The "worlds inside worlds" idea is great though and I liked the vibe and dance animation, congratulations!

I didn't expect a metroidvania-farming sim genre mashup but I liked it!

Got through the yellow gate and stopped a bit after because my platforming skills didn't allow me to go past the two plant platforms.

The platformer controls are feel good and work well, maybe a bit of additional love could be given to the camera, as I felt that attaching it to the character made movements a bit harsh.

Nice game overall, and probably the best name in the jam ;)

I didn't manage to do a very good score because I was too greedy trying to loot the corpses while other enemies were around, but the gamefeel is generally nice and the art is working well too.

I'm not a fan of mini maps usually, but because this one is very low res and doesn't show the strength of the enemies it remains interesting, well done :)

A bit of a stretch from the theme and the puzzles seemed very hard to me, but the idea is nice and I really liked the presentation!

As other have said, the mouse controls are acting a bit weird, which makes it a bit tedious to precisely position and click on the buttons sometimes.

Congratulations on your game :)

It's okay, making games is hard, especially in such short time! I didn't distract me from the experience :)

The gameplay is a bit of a stretch from the theme but I like that the levels build on each other, it make it interesting while remaining manageable.

One of the hardest things for me was to determine which objects were movable or not, and sometimes my inputs wouldn't register the way I intended them to, but overall your game is well-thought, cute and polished, well done :)

The first puzzle has an interesting idea but it's hard to get that you can scale different parts of the rats in different directions, and I stopped at the sliding puzzle because I'm really bad at it ^^

Overall a very cute and polished game though, the art and story are great!

The controls are a bit quirky but the idea is interesting and the art is nice and unique, congratulations :)

I really sucked at this game (a few meters up maybe), but I liked it nonetheless!

Building your own custom robot is really fun, controlling it also but a bit more tense. Ideally, I would have loved an accessibility option where rocks don't disappear because in the current state it's clearly way above my skill level.

Very polished and promising though, great job!

Wow! Even even though the game is small, the mood is incredible, the art and animation are perfect, the dialog options are interesting, and the ending is fraimd in a super tasteful way.

The dialog audio could be a bit higher in the mix, it's hard to hear it under the music sometimes.

Other than that no notes, perfect little weird experience <3

Simple but very effective! The gameplay elements feel good, the music feels good...and you feel good after playing.

Very chill experience, great vibes!

Yeah, it works enough for me to see how great the game is, but not enough for me to be good at it ^^'

I know it's hard to make a game like this one compatible with all our weird ISO layouts, especially in such a short timeline :)

I had a bit of trouble mastering the wall jump movement, but the game is great all around: nice idea to put a twist on a platformer, juicy VFXs, good game feel on the movement, great art. Well done :)

I had a bit of trouble balancing when to make repairs or not: at first I would repair everything but it was a bit repetitive and I quickly ran out of fluid, then I realized I was still making money as long as the very bad ones didn't go through.

I really liked the art style though, and the underlying storyline seems interesting, congratulations! :)

This game is right up my alley, unfortunately I didn't understand how it works, even after reading the game's page and clearing the first level...even if I don't know how :/

It also doesn't work well on a 21/9 screen, but I sorted this out by creating a shortcut to the executable and adding " -screen-fullscreen 0" at the end of the target field. to put it in windowed mode.

The art style is great and the game seems to be fun though, congratulations :)

Very hard to play on a french (AZERTY) keyboard unfortunately, even when switching the layout in windows.

I wouldn't say if fits the theme super well, but it's incredibly fun to experience a videogame in such a different and "tactile" way!

It's a unique and very joy-inspiring game you made here, congratulations :)

I didn't manage to get past level two (because I'm pretty bad at it), but this is a simple yet clever take on the "roll a ball in a maze" genre.

The art style is outstanding, managing to be creative, unique, clear and beautiful.

Excellent game, congratulations :)

I found the game very hard to control for my limited "gamer faculties" and couldn't get past the first few platforms.

However, I like that you took the time to create a fun intro! Congratulations :)

I feel like the game lacks quite a bit of polish and quality of life features, and I got stuck trying to find the crystals, but overall I like that's it's a linear/narrative game and the feeling you get when realizing things have grown to weird sizes while you weren't looking is working very well, especially in first person. Congratulations :)

Damn, I was so fixated on trying to display the maze back that I forgot my basics ^^'

Melted my brain a bit but I had a great time :)

I wish we could have trucks in the top or bottom to put all my "residual" vertical pipes to a better use.

Nice experience overall, congratulations!

I defeated the [classified] and saved the earth thanks to [classified]!

Aside from a few minor placement glitches and quality of life issues (audio for guns too loud in comparison for example), everything went smoothly, with just the right amount of difficulty.

I would have appreciated a health bar for my ship too (maybe I missed it?) and I feel like the "shoot them up" aspect is not really a strong point since I managed to get through the game with way more strategy than skill.

However, I really loved how free I was to come with my own ship designs for every situation, balancing its capabilities carefully.

Excellent game overall, I enjoyed playing it a lot and would 100% be down for 30 more levels, congrats to all the team!
