I’m distributing with your license https://github.com/litecanvas/plugin-frogblock/blob/main/assets/frogblock-LICENSE.txt
And also in the README:
Asking them to download directly from itch would make installation more difficult. But if it’s not possible to distribute the font in my repo, I’ll leave the repository private for my personal use only.
The license asks that users don't redistribute or rehost the files: this is because if people have to visit the page they may donate to the project. I appreciate your intent to redirect people to the project via the README, but realistically they are more likely to download the entire zip without reading the license or visiting the itch page, and can extract the font files relatively easily.
This also means that the file exists in isolation without bugfixes / updates to the license.
Sorry about this, you've clearly put in a lot of work to your editor and it'd be a shame if you isolated it. You should consider allowing people to drag in their own bitmap fonts, it would allow the editor to handle a wider variety of textmode fonts, most of which follow the same ASCII layout that I've used.
