Distributio geographica[1] specierum vel aliorum gregum in biologia est regio geographica intra quam grex certus inveni potest. Intra quam, dispersio est variatio spissitudinis loci.

Sunt minimum quinque genera exemplarium distributionis:

  • Fortuitum: omnes in locis fortuite positi
  • Aggregatum plurimi in una regione positi
  • Lineare: loci lineam constituunt
  • Radiale: loci cruciformes sunt
  • Regulare/ordinatum: loci non sunt fortuiti, sed exemplar constitutum formant
