Ocean Report Discussion

Rising surf & changing conditions as a new Northwest swell builds this afternoon to advisory levels by Friday. South winds & potential for more rain. Winds shifting East this weekend. Brown water advisory at many Kauai beaches. Calmest on South facing shores. Always use caution - esp. when unfamiliar and help is a long way away. Recommended lifeguarded beaches: Kee, Hanalei Pavilion, Poipu, Salt Pond.
Outlook to Thurs March 26: active Northwest swell pattern through this weekend. Strengthening Easterly tradewinds & choppy wind-swell.
