Activate was until 2024 known as Stand Up For UMSU. It is a University of Melbourne electoral machine with connections to the SEARCH Foundation and Australian Young Labor Left. In 2024 the organization changed its name to Activate.
":We're Activate and we've got one goal - to ensure UMSU is a left wing force that isn't just fighting for you, but with you".[1].
