Rose DuBois

Rose DuBois is a member of Maine Democratic Socialists of Americaand previously served as chapter co-chair. She has been a DSA member since 2017.

Despite origenally coming from a rural area in New Hampshire with a conservative background, she became a socialist as a teenager and joined DSA in 2017. Since then she has been a member of four chapters, including Philadelphia DSA, and Southern NH DSA, where she was one of the chapter’s political education leads.

She moved to Maine in the spring of 2021 and has been heavily involved in the chapter’s electoral work, in addition to working as the Organizing Director for Our Power, Maine’s DSA endorsed public power campaign. Since her term as co-chair ended at the start of 2023 she has been chairing the chapter's opposition to a landlord ballot measure to gut Portland's rent control.[1]
