United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) "is a professional organization of over 200 journalists from dozens of countries representing scores of publications and broadcasters from all regions of the world, plus the major global news agencies."[1]
Ruth Gage-Colby Connection
As a free-lance journalist, Gage-Colby covered the founding of the United Nations in San Francisco in 1945 and was one of the founders of the United Nations Correspondents Association.
Mrs. Gage-Colby was a representative to the United Nations for the Women's International League for Peace & Freedom. She also was a representative for the American Humanist Society of Metropolitan New York.[2]
Louis Foy Connection
Louis Foy was a founder of the United Nations Correspondents Association and served as its president in 1971.[3]
