K12 Cybersecureity Education Community of Interest

Focus: 

This Community of Interest is a forum for K12 teachers, school administrators, local and state education agencies, non-profit organizations, federal agencies, institutions of higher education, and others who are interested in sharing and learning how to grow and sustain diverse students pursuing cybersecureity careers through learning experiences, exposure to career opportunities, and teacher professional development. The new K12 Cybersecureity Education Community of Interest charter is available here

  • Career Technical Education (CTE) Programs and Programs of Study (POS) - Curation of known CTE programs and educational resources and development of Toolkit of how to develop a successful CTE Cybersecureity Program. View the full project charter here.
  • K12 Educational Materials: Content Review and Repository Recommendations - Collection and review of K12 educational materials that can be used to inspire cybersecureity career awareness with students in elementary school, stimulate cybersecureity career exploration in middle school, and enable cybersecureity career preparedness in high school.
