The Marine Debris Program (MDP) is proud to work with indigenous communities in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest to understand and reduce the impacts of marine debris through projects that prevent and remove marine debris.

NIDIS developed the NIDIS Tribal Drought Engagement Strategy: 2021–2025. The strategy aims to integrate indigenous perspectives into NIDIS work. By doing so, NIDIS hopes to foster a culturally appropriate engagement practice, by working with tribal nations as equal partners, in preparing for and responding to drought.
This research project leverages the Census Bureau's Data Linkage infrastructure to assist agencies in conducting research related to natural disaster and hazard mitigation, preparedness, resilience, response, and recovery.
